How to setup browser to use Proxy?
First of all, it is necessary for you to have in stock the data (a host and port) a working proxy-server.
Configuring Internet Explorer 6/7 to use Network Proxy
1. Choose the menu “Service” , “Internet Options” tab;
2. A tab “Connection” ;
3. If it is used Dial-up – allocate the necessary connection and press “Settings” . Otherwise – press the button “LAN Settings” in subsection “Local Area Network (LAN) Settings”.
4. Put a tick near to an option “use a proxy server” ;
5. In the field “Address” enter a proxy-server name, and in the field “port” – port number proxy;
6. If necessary put a tick near to an option “bypass proxy server for local addresses”;
7. If necessary – press button “Advanced” and specify parametres for different reports;
8. Press button “OK” to close a window of options of a local network or Dial-Up;
9. Press button “OK” to close a window of options Internet.

1. Choose the menu “Tools” , “Internet Options” tab;

Configuring Opera 5 – 7 to use Network Proxy
1. In the menu “File” choose “Preferences”;
2. In section “Category” (at the left) choose “Network” ;
3. Click the button “Proxies-servers” ;
4. Specify a proxy servers for corresponding reports;
5. Resolve proxy use, having included corresponding ticks – “HTTP”, “HTTPS”, etc.
Configuring Opera 9 to use Network Proxy
1. In the menu “Tools” choose “Preferences”;
2. Choose a tab “Additional” ;
3. In section at the left choose section “Network” ;
4. Click the button “Proxies-servers” ;
5. Specify a proxy servers for corresponding reports;
6. Resolve proxy use, having included corresponding ticks – “HTTP”, “HTTPS”, etc.
Configuring Konqueror to use Network Proxy
1. In menu “Setting” choose “Configure Konqueror”;
2. At the left choose “Proxies”;
3. Include a tag “Use proxy”;
4. Specify a proxy of a server for reports HTTP and FTP.
Configuring Mozilla Firefox to use Network Proxy
1. In the menu “Tools” choose point “Options”;
2. A tab “General”, point “Connection Settings”;
3. Choose “Manual Proxy Configuration”;
4. Enter a name of a server and number of port of a proxy into corresponding fields;
5. Press OK;
6. Press OK;
7. Reboot a browser (close and open it).
