Microsoft stops supporting Windows XP SP2
Today, Microsoft is ceasing to support Windows XP operating system with the second Service Pack (SP2).
Users of this software platform is recommended to download the third service pack. Along with Windows XP SP2 stops support for all versions of Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2000. Besides today, the same Windows Server 2003 is transfered from the basic to advanced support services, that is, Microsoft will be free to distribute patches for the “holes” in the security of this environment, but for other fixes and technical advice a users will have to pay.
